Team India Squad for Asia Cup 2023
Asia Cup 2023, organized by Asian Cricket Council (ACC) is the 16th edition of this tournament. It will be hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The match format will be One Day International (ODI) for the tournament. There will be 6 teams from six different Asian countries in the tournament. The tournament will start on August 30, 2023, and will come to an end on September 17, 2023.
This is the first time in the history of the Asian Cup that the tournament is co-hosted by two countries. Pakistan and Sri Lanka are hosting the 16th edition of Asia Cup 2023. The initial four matches will be played in Pakistan and the rest nine matches in Sri Lanka.
The teams that will be participating in the tournament are Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. Nepal has qualified for the tournament after winning ACC Men’s Premier Cup 2023. Nepal will debut in the Asia Cup in 2023. The ACC board has announced the schedule for 2023 and 2024 in advance. The tournament was first going to happen in 2021 but got delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Asia Cup 2023 Schedule & Match Fixtures
As per the tournament format, six teams will be split into two groups: Group A and Group B. Total of 13 matches will be played between the six teams, six league matches, six Super 4 matches, and a final match. In Group A, we have teams such as India, Pakistan, and Nepal.
