Chhattisgarh BJP Candidates List 2023
In 2024, the Lok Sabha Assembly elections are going to be held. The states in which the election will be held are Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Mizoram, and Chhattisgarh. The Lok Sabha is the House of the People. Parliament has two houses, the lower house is referred to as the Lok Sabha and the upper house is referred to as the Rajya Sabha. The members of both houses hold their seats for five elected years or until the house is dissolved by the President of India.
On August 17, 2023, the BJP party released the first list of candidates for the Chhattisgarh Assembly elections. The party is gearing up for the 2024 elections. However, the date of the election is not yet disclosed by the Election Commission of India. Under this list released by BJP, 21 candidates’ name and their district is mentioned out of which five are female candidates.
Lok Sabha Election 2024
For the 2019 election, the BJP could manage only 15 seats out of 90 in Chhattisgarh. The Congress party won the majority and came into power then. This time Bhartiya Janata Party is fielding well for the Chhattisgarh elections. For the Chhattisgarh MLA candidates, the BJP party has announced the names of Laxmi Rajwade from Bhatgaon, Shakuntala Singh Porthe from Pratappur (ST), Sarla Kosaria from Saraipali (SC), Alka Chandrakar from Khallari, Bhulan Singh Maravi from Premnagar, and Maniram Kashyap from Bastar (ST) and many more candidates.
Chhattisgarh BJP president Arun Sao in an interview has said that in the last five years, the Bhupesh Baghel government has turned Chhattisgarh into a state of crime and corruption. He also added that the people of Chhattisgarh have understood that the future of the state will be safe in the hands of the BJP. He reassured that the Lotus will bloom in Chhattisgarh in the coming elections.
