The Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU) is a UGC affiliate university in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. It is a public state university established in 2008. Initially, VSU used to offer six courses, but now the courses have increased to seventeen postgraduate courses. In 2010, the Government of Andhra Pradesh passed legislation that all colleges affiliated with Sri Venkateswara University and within the Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore district were to become affiliated with VSU. 126 colleges that were associated with Sri Venkateswara University came under the ambit of VSU.
